EMINA Winery was established in 1995 by Carlos More, who comes from a family that has always been linked with the world of wine. His ancestors cultivated the vines with care and passion, a passion that Carlos Moro cultivated right from when he was young. In 1988, this winemaker returned to Valbuena de Duero to create Matarromera winery and in 1995 began to take shape with the birth of EMINA Winery located in San Bernardo in the centre of the Ribera´s Golden Mille, inside de triangle formed by Valbuena de Duero, Pesquera de Duero and Peñafiel. With the same premise based on constantly opting for quality, EMINA is gradually becoming one of the key wineries in the Ribera’s Golden Mile.
It is worth mentioning that EMINA is not only a quality wine producer, but also a contributor to environment protection. They promote green cultivated method and low carbon manufacturing since the winery established, and committed to sustainability as starting point for the growth of its business. EMINA employs renewable energies to generate self sufficiency, based on the use of various technologies: photovoltaic solar, thermal solar and biomass. It produces more energy than it needs, thanks to its eco-efficient facilities. Each year, More than 30% of the annual turnover of EMINA is devoted to the more than 30 research projects. Some of them are already a business reality, includes EMINASIN (Low alcohol and alcohol free wines), ESDOR(Our high-end skincare brand based on the antioxidant capacity of Tempranillo grapes polyphenols and VINESENTI (A range of natural high end food ingredients made of grape polyphenolic extracts with high antioxidant capacity).
Based on the same concept of innovation and environmental awareness, Juerui industry is very glad to become the exclusive distributor of Emina in China, and will introduce its wide range of white, rose and red wines to Chinese market.
