Juerui Industry as experts in Spanish wine kicked off the season of the ¨Wine tasting and Bites¨ at the New Azul. This group of restaurants composed by Azul in Kanding Lu, Colca in Henshan Lu and Colca in North Bund, has been a reference for western food in Shanghai for the last 15 years. The sales team of Juerui Industry together with the chef Will Colmenares and the Director of Operations of the group, Mr. Angel Abadia, have designed this new event that will continue to happen over the season in Azul.

For this first event, Juerui Industry had selected 5 wines, our Verdejo Vendimia Nocturna 2019, a white wine with fruity and citric notes and a perfectly balanced acidity, our Sparkling Wine Verdejo Cantosan with slow-evolving fine bubbles rising to form an attractive crown, both from Yllera Group. In the organic side, we chose a Cara Nord Trepat Rose a wine with pink and strawberry notes and Cara Nord Trepat. Both of them very special wines with the particularity of being organic wines and the only wines with 100% trepat grape available in Shanghai. Trepat is a traditional grape from Catalonia. To close our selection, Juerui Industry presented to our customers a Garnacha Old Vine 2016 from San Valero Group, Gran Ducay Garnacha Old Vine is made with the queen of the San Valero vineyards, the grape from their old vines coming from a unique terroir characterized by its stony soil and the extreme climatological conditions in which vineyards grow. This gives the wine a special earthy flavor with many nuances given the age of the vineyards. Our selection allowed our guests to try different types of wines and paired it with tasty and original Spanish and Latin tapas.

With this new event, Juerui Industry and Azul continue their mission of bringing wine culture closer to the foodies of Shanghai.
