October 29th ,2014. A wine tasting took place at Xibarita. It was organized by Juerui Industry and Monjardin, two companies which have been cooperated over years. Mrs. Sonia Olano, the owner of Monjardin came to Shanghai from Spain and joined us to present five characteristic wines of the winery. We started from two Chardonnays, both got the thumbs up, especially the second one, the Chardonnay Reserva aged for five years. We were all impressed by its complexity and elegant which we think come from the long time ageing and best grapes they selected. After that, three red wines with different style have been tasted, and Deyo, the one made from 100% merlot was really surprised all of us, it is smooth in mouth and matured in tannins. This wine was also got 90 points from Robert Parker. Five wines selected for this tasting are awarded numerously every year.
